Can I make money off of selling guitars?

Recently I have had a few people offer me a deal on guitars. I don't play as much as I used to, but I am wondering if I have a chance to make a business out of this. I have a lot of friends who play music, and they often are trying to get new instruments and get rid of old stuff. Can I make a profit off of buying guitars, and selling them? I know how to touch up and fix guitars if needed, I can tune to ear, and I currently have these makes for offer: Takamine acoustic, Fender Stratocaster, Ibanez acoustic, and Peavy electric.
